Descriptions:
Hog finishing operation located approx. 10 miles east of Fairview in the Peace region of Alberta. The 160 Ac property consists of (2) 5,000 head barns - each being 100ft. by 400ft. long; a service building -20 x 46 c/w stand-by power generator; (2) liquid manure lagoons- each being approx. 3.5 million gallons; a fresh water source being approx. 7.5 million gallons. Permits and water license are in place and appear to be in compliance. There are approx. 2,100 Ac of farmland in reasonably close proximity that have been used for nutrient management in the past; it is expected these acres would continue to be available. The barns have been in production until mid-November 2011; at present they are empty and available for production.
